Hi, my name is Max California and I work in... Okay, seriously, "Max California" is a character from 8MM played by Joaquin Phoenix. I don't know why I took this username, it was just the first one that occurred to me.

I like to play Flash games and sometimes also watch Flash movies but I don't have the skills to make some on my own. That's why I'm always quite impressed with the efforts of others and there are many, many games and movies on this site that I really found excellent. So I judge them and prefer to write reviews. I hope that my reviews are considered to be helpful by some - I try to be constructive both if I like it or dislike it (but I prefer to write reviews on games/movies I liked) and say what I think they could do better. I believe that someone who puts so much work into a game/movie not only wants to read "I like it / I hate it" but something more extensive. Sometimes I don't know what to criticize (in some few cases it's so much that I could write a book about it) simply because I really loved or completely disliked a game/movie - those reviews are rather short.

There are many great games and movies and I don't want to single out a few and leave the rest unmentioned. My reviews reflect my views so it's easy to find out what I like and what not.
